Celluma LED Light Therapy

One of the easiest ways to explain Celluma LED light therapy, also referred to LLLT (Low Level Light Therapy) is to think of it as photosynthesis for mammals. Just like plants, scientific research has shown that human bodies can absorb light particles called photons and transform that light energy into adenosine triphosphate or ATP.

As we age, the ability of our cells to produce energy diminishes. Cellular energy production is also affected by disease and poor lifestyle habits. Light therapy actually increases cellular energy! It is not the same light energy used in tanning booths and it does not expose your skin to harmful UV wavelengths.

Facial Skin: Red Light vs. Blue Light Therapy

Red light therapy is often used for various skin treatments. It stimulates collagen production, improves skin texture, reduces inflammation, and promotes wound healing. Additionally, red wavelengths increase blood flow, moving toxins out of the body, and help generate new healthier tissue. Its ability to reach deeper layers of the skin allows it to potentially affect cellular processes and stimulate beneficial changes within the skin’s structure and function.

Blue light therapy is known for its effectiveness in treating acne by targeting the bacteria that contribute to breakouts within the skin’s superficial layers. Blue light energy typically penetrates the skin at a shallow depth compared to red light – it generally penetrates the skin to the depth of the epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin. Its ability to reach deeper layers is limited, which is why it is often used for targeting skin concerns closer to the surface, such as acne.

Continued treatments at an interval of 2 per week for 6-8 weeks is recommended. Maintenance should consist of once per week thereafter.

Body Contouring with Celluma Light

Reduce the circumference of your hips, waist, and thighs with the only FDA-cleared red light therapy on the market for Body Contouring.

If you’re looking for a body contouring option that doesn’t involve surgery or drug injection (and all the side effects that come along with these options), and has the versatility to help you achieve whole-body wellness, body contouring with red light therapy is your answer. Recommended protocol is 30 minutes 3x per week for 4 weeks.

How it Works
The Celluma CONTOUR emits red and near infrared light. These proven wavelengths target and activate fat cells, creating temporary pores in fat cell membranes, allowing lipids to leak out and then be excreted through the body’s normal metabolic processes. This results in smaller fat cells, and a slimmer you!

Celluma Contour pairs well with all BodyLab body contouring offerings for added results!
